Today is National Magic Day and my son said that yesterday was National Cat Day. Here’s a link to Mashable.com’s<\/a> cat pictures shared by staff.  I found out a little late that October 29 was that important. I always thought that it was just memorable because it commemorated the great stock market crash of 1929. It will now also be remembered for hurricane Sandy’s destruction.<\/p>\n

And for those who may have forgotten Hurricane Hazel hit Toronto on October 15, 1954.<\/p>\n

October is a fearsome month!!!<\/p>\n
