I pray to give thanks for my good fortune. I don\u2019t pray in words so much as I pray in activities &#8211; writing, reading, cooking, cleaning, sewing my scraps of fabric together, as I patch my words together for this blog, while living snippets of poetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSomething there is that doesn\u2019t like a wall<br \/>That sends the frozen groundswell under it<br \/>And spills the upper boulders in the sun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI must go down to the seas again<br \/>To the lonely sea and the sky\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLet me not to the marriage of true minds <br \/>admit impediments.\u201c Love is not love<br \/>Which alters when it alteration finds.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGod, my God, why hast thou forsaken me\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He hasn\u2019t, not yet anyway and I pray he never does. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now to listen for an answer. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I pray every day.
