{"id":1634,"date":"2012-07-11T22:03:00","date_gmt":"2012-07-11T22:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/?p=1634"},"modified":"2026-01-15T17:09:47","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T17:09:47","slug":"piano-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/?p=1634","title":{"rendered":"Piano People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I couldn&#8217;t resist going out to see the launch of these fantastic pianos that will be scattered around Toronto until the end of July. &nbsp;The event is a lead up to the Pan-Am Games in 2015. &nbsp;The promoters gathered together 49 used pianos and had artists who were born in the countries that are participating in the games decorate them. &nbsp;The artists, who now live in Canada did a fantastic job. &nbsp;Here is one from Granada.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/piano3.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em;margin-right: 1em\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"318\" src=\"http:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/piano3.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nThere was a big outdoor display next to the Roy Thompson Hall last night. &nbsp;All the pianos were there with fabulous pianists playing great jazz pieces. &nbsp;There was also a piece that all the pianos played together &#8211; quite amazing.
