OK, it’s starting to get to me. Can’t go outside – it’s raining. I’ve cleaned the bathroom – there’s nothing left to clean. Well, maybe there is, but I’m not doing it today. Yes, I have knitting to do and several books to read, but I’m climbing the walls. This is where it really gets “silly.”<\/p>\n

I posted parallel poems to a poem by William Carlos Williams – The Red Wheelbarrow – in my last post and found some old pictures. OK. I like looking at pictures. So I decided to find another short poem and do some more imitations – with pictures. Here it(they) is(are).<\/p>\n

The Cow<\/p>\n

The cow is of the bovine ilk;
\nOne end is moo, the other milk.<\/p>\n

The pig is of the porcine kind;
\nOne end is oink, the other rind.<\/p>\n

The snake is on the elapine list;
\nOne end is rattle, the other hisss..t<\/p>\n

The horse is in the equine group;
\nOne end is neigh, the other poop.<\/p>\n
