I&#8217;m not sure that it is in print anymore; it was published in 1987.&nbsp; I have always wanted to &#8220;do&#8221; the Monet sweater. The cover of the book shows &#8220;Tahitian Women on the Beach&#8221; by Paul Gauguin. There is a total 20 sweaters in the book including the Mona Lisa, David and Cherubs by Raphael.<\/p>\n<p>Well this book and its sweaters are not the only ones that have linked great art and knitting.<\/p>\n<table cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" class=\"tr-caption-container\" style=\"float: left;margin-right: 1em;text-align: left\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Knitted-art-001.jpg\" style=\"clear: left;margin-bottom: 1em;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/lifeiswhathappens.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Knitted-art-001.jpg\" width=\"213\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"tr-caption\" style=\"text-align: center\">The Materialistics&#8217; version of Van Gogh&#8217;s Sunflowers<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/lifeandstyle\/gallery\/2011\/mar\/30\/craft-knitting?INTCMP=SRCH\">The Materialistics<\/a> are a group of knitters in the UK that decide every year to take a famous work of art and re-do it in knitting. Be amazed; be very amazed!<\/p>\n<p>Art critics, of course scorn their attempts; but knitters love them. It&#8217;s maybe more tasteful than yarn bombings &#8211; even the very high end yarn bombings.
