Weird and getting weirder…..

….Today is Friday the 13th. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything very interesting in my various searches for this day.  There was information about the usual events and superstitions, but I couldn’t find anything that I could really identify with (with which I could really identify.) It was weird. You know, here you have a day with a lot of fringy vibes and nothing is churning up the creative juices. Well, it was cold to-day 13C and it’s gonna get a lot colder, so maybe my brain was just slow or drained or something like that.

What do I do? Since I am well over half way through the blog-a-day challenge for 2013, I am not going to quit, but I do need some inspiration to write!! So I started doing, what I often do, when I have nothing to do. I key random words into the title bar of my MAC and hope for the best. I keyed in a few words, such as, everything, (I’ve done “nothing” before.) Some weird sites came up, but not really bogging material – there is weird and then there is really weird.

Finally I keyed in the word, “weird.” A quote from John Cleese came up – gotta love him!!. I spent some time reading some of his quotations from the site Goodreads. Good but not for today. I really needed some TNT weirdness, to crank up the creative quotient. Then I remembered someone who is even weirder than John Cleese in my book anyway, Spike Milligan. So here are some of the quotes, that helped me get this post written!!
