Actually I have the book 1,000 places to see before you die and the book 1,000 foods to eat before you die, or something like that. I have said before that I’m a sucker for a list. Anyway Anita-Clare Field posted this site http://www.listchallengeapp.com/travellistchallenge/ to my FB wall and I was intrigued.

It’s a site that lists, what they believe, are the 100 places that you should see before you die. There’s a little box beside each place which you tick. At the end you can compare your list with those of your friends, who have used the site as well.

I ticked 35 places. Many I haven’t been to in a long time and others I have been to many times, simply because of location and the location of family and friends, such as, Niagara Falls – about 2.5 hours away on a good day and Edinburgh Castle because my relatives live in Edinburgh.
The pictures are of two of the places on the list that I happened to have pictures for on this computer. Fortunately my husband loves to travel and I could go anywhere at the drop of a hat. Many of the places I went to a long time ago were done on a shoestring, so to speak. I spent a good deal of time hitch-hiking around Europe years ago on a very tight budget. I still dream of taking a Volkswagon van on an extended trip – just 65 more to see or maybe it’s 965 🙂
Have a wonderful day!!
