OK, I didn’t get an idea for a blog today until about 5:00pm, when I decided to read what I had recommended to other bloggers, as good blog topic material and it worked!! I keyed in “video of the day” and was directed to Mashable.com – a site that I usually find very interesting. Fortunately it didn’t let me down today.
Since I have been talking a bit about books lately, I was drawn to this animated video in stop motion photography about a book store coming to life.
It’s quite short, but very engaging. I’m not sure that you would get the same effect with a collection of e-books on a reader. Alas, too many book stores have been closing. We may have gained the convenience of immediate downloads, but I think that we have lost a lot of the entertainment that comes with browsing through book shelves and stacks of books!!
