The Joy of Routine

This week was the usual Ho-Hum. I managed 3 consecutive 10kms walks – Thurs. Fri. & Sat. The weather was sunny and lovely. Some people were wearing just shorts & T-shirts – c’mon it never got above 7ºC. I don’t count this as summer. Still I love that there are people, out there who defy […]

The Joy of 936 pages

I have just finished reading “Coming Home” by Rosamunde Pilcher. It was 936 pages of a wonderful love story set in Cornwall from 1938 to 1946. It was wonderful. We were a small group, but a dedicated one. Everyone present was lovely and I couldn’t have spent

Camino

Camino #9

I am 85% there as far as preparation for my Camino in April 2024 is concerned. My 5th backpack arrived today. I loaded it up with most of my gear, weighted it – 10lbs with 2 waters – perfect! I can exchange one of the waters for something else about 1lb in weight, but for
